Upgrades to our storytelling tools have helped out as well – since the original release of Season 1 we’ve developed a lot of improved methods for having player-specific story in the open world, and that let us bring the old content into a linear structure in ways that wouldn’t have worked at the time. We wanted it to play just like the later releases in Season 2 and onward – a replayable chapter that each of your characters could experience or repeat.
